CERN is seeking a Robotics Engineer to contribute to the identification and automation analysis of robotics equipment within the Future Circular Collider (FCC) Accelerator Facility. This role offers the opportunity to work in a world-class scientific environment and help shape the next generation of large-scale research infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities

Analyze and identify suitable robotics equipment for use in the FCC Accelerator Facility

Develop automation strategies tailored to the operational needs of the FCC

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate robotics solutions into the FCC infrastructure

Support testing, documentation, and optimization of robotic and automated systems
Required Qualifications and Skills

Professional background in Robotics Engineering or a related field

Educational Requirements:

Master’s degree with 2–6 years of post-graduation professional experience OR
-
PhD with no more than 3 years of post-graduation professional experience

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in robotics applications

Capacity to work in a multidisciplinary environment with high technical standards
