Leonard Bauersfeld is a PhD student in Robotics at the University of Zurich with Davide Scaramuzza. His research focuses on drone modeling, agile vision-based flight, and machine learning for autonomous UAV navigation. He completed his Master’s in Robotics, Systems, and Control at ETH Zurich in 2021 and expects to complete his PhD in spring 2026. Outside research, he enjoys photography, especially nature and astrophotography.
