CynLr is solving challenges in Premium Automotive Manufacturing

CynLr is a foundational technology company in robotics and AI that builds Object Intelligence, a technology stack that enables robots to intuitively learn to pick and handle even unknown objects without requiring any prior training. This capability allows robots to operate in unstructured and unpredictable environments, performing tasks that traditional systems cannot automate. In manufacturing, tasks like fitting screws, removing packaging, or assembling parts have resisted automation because they require machines to adapt on the fly. CynLr’s goal is to replace rigid, product-specific lines with Universal Factories, where micro factories can switch between products without needing custom-built machines.

CynLr is tackling one of the hardest problems in automation for a German premium automaker that moves over 1.7 million vehicles a year and defines the global benchmark for precision engineering and design excellence.

The project involves complex assemblies like inserting deformable rubber strips along curved metallic window frames and fitting mirrors that require force sensitive manipulation, precise cable insertion and adaptive handling.

These are tasks where even humans rely on continuous dexterity, tactile feedback and fine motor adjustments. Enabling machines to perform with this kind of sensory-driven intelligence requires perception, learning and intuition.

Through this work, CynLr is advancing the core of Object Intelligence, making such human-like adaptability in automation a reality.
