Our vision

Switzerland is a global leader in robotics innovation, recognized for its excellence, innovation, and leadership in robotics and automation. This strength is supported by a vibrant ecosystem of hundreds of robotics companies and startups across diverse sectors, including, but not limited to, manufacturing, healthcare, AI, and advanced automation.

The Swiss Robotics Association envisions a highly connected, globally recognized robotics ecosystem where cutting-edge research translates into real-world impact. SRA achieves this by strengthening interactions across the Swiss robotics landscape and acting as a networking hub for all stakeholders, while fostering collaboration and innovation across academia, industry, and beyond.

At the heart of this vision is an open, human-centered community where talent thrives, ideas flow fluidly between research and industry and Switzerland continues to shape the future of robotics worldwide.

Our mission

The Swiss Robotics Association (SRA) aims to strengthen Switzerland's robotics ecosystem by fostering innovation, enabling technology transfer, and connecting people across academia, industry, and other relevant stakeholders. A key part of its mission is to support technology transfer, ensuring that innovations developed in leading Swiss institutions reach industry efficiently and create value.

At the same time, SRA works to give its members access to innovation by connecting them with emerging technologies and research, while also building a strong industry-academia network that enables meaningful cross-sector collaboration. Beyond this, the association contributes to a human-centered ecosystem that supports talent development, career opportunities, and knowledge exchange across the robotics community.

Through these efforts, SRA acts as a catalyst for collaboration, innovation, and growth in Swiss robotics.
