With 28 schools spread across the entire French-speaking region and some 21,000 students, the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Western Switzerland (HES-SO) is the largest network of higher professional education in Switzerland. In order to steer and manage the institution, the 4 members of the rectorate have the mission of strengthening the HES-SO’s proximity to its professional environment and its influence in the national and international landscape of higher education, research and innovation by building a solid network with its partners.

HEPIA is represented at the cantonal level in the bodies of HES-SO Geneva and at the intercantonal level in those of HES-SO.
