OST – Ostschweizer Fachhochschule

Empowering Expertise.

OST – Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences combines practice-oriented education and applied research across engineering, computer science, business, health sciences, social work and the built environment. From its campuses in Buchs, Rapperswil-Jona and St. Gallen, OST works with industry and public institutions to turn knowledge into practical solutions.

OST ROBOTICS, the Center for Applied Robotics and AI, connects expertise and infrastructure in robot learning, simulation, mechatronics, autonomous systems, embedded AI and human-robot collaboration. Applications range from industry and field robotics to laboratory automation, life sciences and healthcare. Interdisciplinary teams support partners from feasibility assessment to validated demonstrators, while student projects and theses connect research with education.
